You can use a cell style to apply multiple styles in one step and ensure that all cells have the same formatting. A cell style is a set of formatting options that include typefaces and font sizes, number types, cell borders, and shading. You can also use a cell style that locks cells to prevent others from changing specific cells.

How to Apply Title Cell Style in Excel?

How to Modify Cell Styles in Excel?

We can also change any of the basic styles in Excel. Change the Total Amounts column (cells F3:F10) to blue in the preceding example. To do so, first (1) choose the range, then (2) go to the Home tab in the Styles area of the Ribbon, (3) right-click the current cell style (Calculation), and (4) click Modify.
