Renders Of The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 Show A Clear View Of A Disappointing Phone.

Notably, Samsung has begun eliminating the letter 'Z' from their phones, ostensibly representing the Russian army. So while some European countries are seeing a shift in the company's name, the foldable phone brand may not have the letter 'Z.'

As a result, we cannot rule out the possibility that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 will be renamed Galaxy Fold 4 and Flip 4, respectively.

In Samsung's defense, a familiar design may benefit many users. Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Fold 2 owners who want to upgrade to the Galaxy Z Fold 4 won't have any difficulties.

It could be a bad thing because the format factor can be modified to provide users with a more robust experience. The first Galaxy Z Fold 4 renders have surfaced online, providing an early peek at the next flagship foldable.

Similarly, the renders of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 have surfaced online, and they're a little underwhelming. Instead, the renders reveal a clamshell foldable similar to the Galaxy Z Flip 3.

Not that it's a terrible thing; the Galaxy Z Flip 3 is one of the most attractive devices available, but enthusiasts were expecting a more streamlined design.

However, the phone in the renders could easily confuse the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 because it looks identical save for the color. According to the source, it also has a 6.7-inch foldable screen, just like the current model.

The rear includes a dual-lens camera and a secondary screen, while the bottom edge has a USB-C connector, a speaker grille, and a SIM card slot, while the right side has a power button and volume rocker similar to the Z Flip 3.

The only change they cite is the measurements, supposedly 165.1 x 71.9 x 7.2mm for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 (when unfolded). However, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 measures 166 x 72.2 x 6.9mm. So, assuming this is correct, the Z Flip 4 is slightly shorter and narrower but slightly thicker. However, the differences are so minor that they should be invisible.

The Galaxy Z Flip 4 will appear slightly more current than the 2021 model if these renderings are correct. However, it will not be as significant an improvement over the current clamshell design as the Galaxy Z Flip 3 was over the original Flip.
